Police were called to 7221 3rd Avenue early on Sunday morning in response to a stabbing incident. When they got there, they discovered Daryl Dawkins, 37, had been stabbed in the chest.
Dawkins was taken by Emergency Medical Services to NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, where he was subsequently declared deceased. Maurice Hartridge, 43, has been taken into custody by the police in relation to the incident.
